Referrals: A case created due to an | WebPT Ideas and Discovery

Referrals: A case created due to an insurance change mid treatment should not be counted as a new referral

Best practice is to create a new case when a patient changes mid treatment (and a placeholder IE is finalized), however, these cases are being counted as a new referral and is affecting the referral conversion rate. Is there a way to filter these types of cases out, so they are not counted as a new case and will not affect conversion rate?
