Cursor snap to new text box after clicking

For example, when clicking "add activity" the activity sidebar opens up but the cursor does not start to blink at the search bar. Then I have to go click it before typing. The cursor should snap to any search bar or text box that is opened.

Yes! Someone gets it haha. Every other website in the world does this. Such a constant pet peeve.
