Under the new Medicare reduction of 15% for PTA treatments we are allowed to remove CQ modifier from first billable code to allow for overhead cost. We should have the ability to manually add the CQ modifier from the drop down arrow so each Medicare visit can be individually billed and coded by the provider doing the treatment. Eliminate the CQ modifier being applied automatically to any Medicare visit on the PTA schedule. All visits since Jan 1 have been incorrectly coded and therefore we are loosing money . When will the modification be ready for roll out. Jan 1 should have been the date
