Remove inactive users from messaging

There isn't any way to remove inactive clerical users from our messaging list. Forcing us to figure out how to organize our list of current employees vs past employees. We have had WebPT since 2013 so our list of previous employees is lengthy. WebPT is telling us there is no way to completely remove inactive users from the messaging list. Making the messaging tool more time consuming when sending a message to all staff. We either have to select all current staff individually or select all and uncheck inactive staff individually. There is no in between. It is beyond us that it's not common practice to remove inactive users from messaging.

Hello, and thanks for your feedback! This is a feature that we don’t have immediately planned, but may consider in the future. We’ll make sure to let you know if this feature is delivered.

In the meantime, some of the work we are doing for Tasking will improve upon the messaging experience within the app.

If you have any further questions, feel free to leave a comment or contact WebPT Support using support@webpt.com.

I agree that it's really strange that inactive employees can't be removed from the messages list. I found a workaround that will help for now. In the User Manager, I added Z_ in front of all inactive users' first names (in the first name line, NOT the full name line). This doesn't affect how they show up in the User Manager, but it does drop them to the bottom of the "To" list in Messages. (Hopefully it doesn't show up weird anyone else, but since they're inactive, it seems like it will work ok.)
