When I evaluate a prior patient, often times I am given a link to smart text import data from many cases prior (IE: a patient was treated in early 2022, when evaluating them in December 2022, webpt only allows me to import their past medical history from 2018). This makes it very inefficient to have to pull up the prior eval and retype any changes to medical history. The suggestion I was given to add an addendum and rebill the prior evaluation is cumbersome for billing departments especially in a small clinic

Hello, and thanks for your feedback! Updating smart text import data is not a currently planned feature, but we may consider it in the future. We'll make sure to let you know if this feature is delivered.

The Admin Response missed the point because the member referred to "Import Data" as Smart Text. Easy mistake, they look the same. We are working on a way to view the history for the patient case - but the member brings up a great point - why not go back to the previous case and allow the therapist to review that as well when the patient returns for a new IE. Brilliant! Adding this to our to-do list.
As for Smart Text, we are announcing a much more powerful replacement for SOAP 2 on December 18th. Smart Charting!
