Add to standardized pediatric tests:

These two tests, the PEDI-CAT and the M-FUN,  would be extremely useful to have for standardized pediatric tests:

TEST

PEDI-CAT

The Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT) is a clinical assessment for children and youth that can be used across all diagnoses, conditions and settings. It can be completed by parent/caregiver report or professional judgment of clinicians or educators who are familiar with the child and is recommended for use with children approaching 1 year of age and up to 21 years of age. This tool measures function in four domains: (1) Daily Activities; (2) Mobility; (3) Social/Cognitive, and (4) Responsibility. The items were selected based on their relevance for children’s engagement in daily life tasks. This feature of the will enable clinicians to construct a description of a child’s current functional status or progress in acquiring functional skills that are part of everyday life. Typical T-score for age is 50 with a SD of +/-10. T-Scores <50 are-1SD Below the Norm, and T-Scores <30 are -2SD below the norm.

Thanks for the suggestion. The PEDI was already on our list, but M-FUN was not; now it is. Please up-vote these to help raise the priority for these tests!
