When creating a new contact, we have the option to enter status as "lead" or "active". But once created, can we change the status? Is it a default change only when there is activity in the account?
Right now the status of a contact is calculated by the system each Sunday night. Here are the options:
Lead: This is the initial default status. Any contact created that has never referred a patient has the status of "Lead"
Active: The contact has sent at least one referral in the past 90 days
Inactive: The contact has sent at least one referral, but there have been no referrals in the past 90 days
Accounts have an additional status option:
Not Engaged: You can mark an account as "Not Engaged" meaning you are going to stop working with the account.
