Adding “ custom activity” to plan my day

I would like to add to “plan my day” custom activity.
What if on average i visit 13-17 places but one day I show only 5 but I was attending community networking event. I would like to somehow show it on my schedule.

    Thanks for the feedback. Just to confirm you'd like to create an activity that isn't tied to a contact or account?

    One idea that I know others have done is to create the "Networking Event" as an account. However, I understand that there are probably other activities that you are doing that might fall into an "other" category. We'll look into this.
