It would be great if there was a way to input a % fee for taxes somewhere in the billing section so that it would automatically be calculated and included in the total owed by the patient. From what I understood from my call to customer support, I would need to calculate the tax owed outside of therabill each time we want to charge a patient and add that dollar amount in manually when creating a customer statement. It is impossible to have one set dollar amount for taxes on services as the amounts owed will most always vary from patient to patient depending on their medical coverage and co-payments.
