It would be useful if we could find a payment by paid amount and also be able to change deposit/ post / applied date in 1 single transaction, like its done in the ERA section. We should be able to do this with every payment,no matter what type of payment it is. It take a lot of time to balance our check book; since we balance our checking account according to our bank deposits.

At the end of the month we make sure that payments and bank deposit match. Sometimes we are looking for a check # and would be easier to find it by the payment amount.  I have 25 years experience and know that this is very useful.  Also it would be good if we were able to enter a payment without posting the payment.  Sometimes we have the payment amount but have not received the eob.  This reminds us that we received the payment and need the eob for later posting.  Thank you.
