It would be very beneficial and practical to be able to have each therapist submit charges to MDC under their own NPI while waiting for say Aenta, Medicaid or BCBS to finish their specific credentialing.  Under the provider portal we should have the ability to select  which insurance each provider is credentialed with and be able to bill with their own unique NPI as they become credentialed instead of waiting for all, every single insurance company, to credential a therapist so we can bill under the therapists own NPI.  As it is now, we either have to bill under another therapists NPI or not allow that therapist to treat patients with certain insurances because the credentialing process is not 100% complete across the board.  Right now it is all or nothing.
