This new update making it so you must create insurances in web pt to come over to thera bill now instead of being able to edit the insurance in an individual's account is a poor choice. I feel this is just opening ourselves up for more mistakes where as before, I was free to make the changes I needed to individual insurances within a patient's account by "creating a new insurances" with what ever differences there may have been ( phone number, zip code, address ). This is a big problem for us and another negative aspect of a system that has already been riddled with issues. Please advise as to our options moving forward. Adding an insurance into web pt to carry over into therabill has taken over 30 minutes in the past and even then it doesn't always carry over correctly. I think this is a terrible choice and that this needs to be reviewed and at least give us the option to back out of this update as all it does is cause more problems for us.
Hello, we chose to change the way that insurances are mapped due to the large volume of unintentional errors it would cause. When we first rolled this feature out, it had issues that we have since fixed, and I hope that your experience with the Insurance Mapping Tool has improved. We do not have any plans to change the Insurance Mapping Tool, but thank you for taking the time to write into the Idea Portal.
