It's important to have a useful messaging system to communicate internally with staff. If I need to forward a message or add someone to the distribution I have to copy the message into a new message. Formatting is non-existent and not easy to read on copied messages. Also saving as unread allows you to use your unread box as a to do list. Most emails allow you to mark as unread for convenience.
