Very Important Billing Claims Issue-PLEASE FIX

I just came across another issue with the integration for Therabill and WebPT that is quite unsettling. We have a patient that switched insurance in 2019.  I just went to look at their billing for 2019 DOS only to uncover that the DOS had been billed to the old insurance which had been closed and ineffective in WebPT as of December 31, 2108. The notes that push everything over to Therabill were attached to the correct insurance. I called and was told that the ineffective date does not push over and we have to go in and manually make this change.  They do that as some people still need to bill for old clams which I understand but why would the system allow a claim in 2019 to be billed to an old insurance provider? This makes no sense at all.  At a minimum, it should have stopped the billing and told me to check the insurance. When we switched over, we were told that all information from WebPT flows over and little by little we are uncovering that this is not the issue at all (I have to put in copays and many other things). I am losing time and money by this happening.  We may not be paid for some DOS now as we are outside of the billing window. I suggest this is a change that is made asap.
