It would be helpful to have a payment notes section in the window where credit card payments are processed. Payments are often taken at the front desk, not by the person in charge of billing. We sometimes take payments for more than one item (I.e. copay plus pending balance or copay plus a medical supply). This would allow people in the back office to quickly see the breakdown. I was told by Therabill that the client comments section only shows on the customer receipt.
