We have many patients who come in under one condition under a workers comp claim and then the same person either comes in under a commercial insurance simultaneously or after, but before workers comp has finalized all the claims.  The fact that this information is at a patient level has led to several denials because it has stated that it's a work-related injury when it's done (or vice versa), causing us to have to correct and re-bill.  When you have hundreds of patients, it's hard when doing all the billing to remember which patients you have to go in and physically change those details on and then change back depending on what case you're billing and what insurance you're billing for that patient.
