Statement Reflects Expected Rates

We used a previous program called Chirotouch. In this software the patient statement would reflect the anticipated collection for the patient based on fee schedules, deductible, co-insurance and copay. This allowed us to collect the balance for the patient and not have to wait for the insurance to process. Our clinic collects at each visit, and not having this feature had been very time consuming. Each day we have to pull up the schedule and go through each patient and do the manual calculations to figure out what was owed. It seems inefficient to not have a system that can reflect that.

That is a major issue for me, as I am expected to collect from patients at the time of their visit-and I also previously worked at a Chiropractor's office with software that seamlessly added balance, estimated co-insurance, and tracked which co-payments had been made. And that was 20 years ago!
