For offices that have the EMR and Therabill, there is no integration of the patient schedule. In order to avoid confusion for patients, but give the option for patients to pay for their visits, see their bills, and allow staff to send messages or notes, the Patient Portal should allow Scheduling to be turned and off on the clinic level.
With Scheduling being a constant feature, I can forsee patients getting confused thinking the visits they scheduled in office should be showing. Manual addition/integration just isn't viable for larger scale clinics to be adding appointments in on two separate platforms.
