Deactivate a Provider without deleting

It would be very useful to be able to deactivate a provider for short periods without completely deleting them. This would allow staff who are going away for long periods to be covered by another provider. For example, If I have a staff member on maternity leave and hire a temporary PT to cover,. Unless I want to pay for 2 user licenses, one of which will not be in use, then I have to delete one provider. Not very flexible in my opinion. Thanks for listening.
