When posting a patient refund, prior unassigned payments apparently "disappear". There should be a record of ALL payments and refunds for future reference and verification of accuracy. From an accounting standpoint, posting a refund should never simply delete prior payment information. In addition to deleting pertinent information, this also affects every deposit total previously reconciled, because they no longer reconcile! This leaves the door open for questions concerning the integrity and accuracy of personnel responsible for financial aspects of Therabill.
