Medicare has shared with providers that as of April 1, the 02 place of service can no longer be used for telehealth when patients are being seen from their homes or other non-clinical locations. Instead place of service 10 will be required and Therabill does not currently have this option. This change is only for Medicare, but history indicates that other insurers often follow Medicare's lead, which makes this change critical to billing in a way that will be reimbursed.
