Some insurance companies do not provide a visit number for authorizations. An example is Aetna (through Holista), who authorizes treatment for a period of time, but does not authorize a certain number of visits during that period. This currently causes issues with claims submission and causes us to waste time turning off authorization tracking nearly every time we try to submit claims for these patients. Neither Therabill nor WebPT currently tracks these authorizations properly because there is no visit number.
