Marking messages as unread after reading

When communicating between staff, it would be beneficial to be able to mark the messages after reading them as unread. This would trigger my mind to go back to that message and complete the request at a later time. If not able to mark as unread, perhaps have a color change showing it was opened but not replied to yet. after it is replied to it could go back to regular color.
