Deactivate Insurance that has just flowed over from WebPt

WepPt has implemented a feature where you can auto check benefits on a patient when you enter their insurance information. With this feature the insurance info is flowing instantly to therabill before we are completely sure of benefits. If the information that flowed over to Therabill was auto decativated until checked and activated manually, It would save on errors being sent to insurances, such as missing auth numbers or coding errors that have yet to be checked.

    The information that is populated or gathered from doing an EBV in WebPT does not or never has flowed over to Therabill... the only thing that flows over to Therabill from WebPT is the Insurance name, ID # and the policy holder details. As far as authorizations go, those will flow over when 1 is created or added to a case in WebPT, and it can be edited if necessary by looking the patient up in Therabill. It is up to your biller to add, edit or correct any other insurance related details in Therabill. I fear if they deactivate the connection and crossover we will have 100x more work with entering, editing and correcting insurance details in Therabill.
