Providers are not always able to have their laptops with them and Therabill open when they are working with their patients. If the providers received text notification of any schedule changes and/or cancellations that are made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, this would allow them to ability to know when a patient cancels that same day and to adjust their schedule.
