there should be a simple new patient intake similar to the quick add system but has no required field so you can add the patients to the wait list to come back to their profile later to add the information that we did not receive at first. this would be helpful to help us go more paperless and easier to find patient information instead of searching through a folder with all the new patient intake paperwork

Thanks for your feedback. We spent quite a bit of time working on the Quick Add process inside of WebPT. Here was an article about some of the changes that were made. We felt that having these fields helps ensure clinics have the information necessary to identify the patient.
Required fields include:
First and Last Name
Gender
Date of Birth
Primary Contact Number
Primary Insurance
Referring Physician

can't agree more. The current Quick Add is a joke, it requires the same amount of data as the regular add.... useless

Users will typically use "Direct access" in the referring physician field.
