Scheduling for Multiple Locations without Switching Clinics

We have 5 locations in our practice, but we function together as one unit. We have one person that handles authorizations for the practice and it takes twice as long as it should since you have to switch between all locations in order to pull up each patient. Same thing for scheduling. Our schedulers handle all five offices and it's extremely cumbersome switching back and forth between clinics constantly. Should be able to quickly toggle back and forth between schedules or even have the ability to pull them up simultaneously to check for availability.

    Admin response

Hello, and thanks for your feedback! We have a feature that should be a solution for Centralized Scheduling that we are planning to work on soon. We’ll associate this idea to the feature to make sure you know when it is delivered. In the meantime if you have any further questions feel free to leave a comment or contact support.

To use the new feature you must be given the "Multi-Clinic Mode" permission. Here is more information: https://help.emr.webpt.com/article/2006-webpt-centralized-scheduling

We have been developing a Centralized Scheduling function that allows a user with the permission to view/update schedules and add/update patients across multiple browser tabs of different clinics. The new mode supports all of the major tasks related to registering a new patient and scheduling new or returning patients, across all of the clinics that the user has access to. We are currently getting feedback from a few early users, but hope to release Centralized Scheduling in the next 4 to 8 weeks.

Yes, please give us "omnipotence mode".

We have 3 locations and I find that if I add the individual clinics in the patient information: "Add Clinic", I have no problems scheduling patients for the other clinics from my clinic. In manage calendars, I allowed each of the other clinics calendars by marking yes. I easily switch between calendars for each of the other clinics in my clinic. I hope that makes sense. :)

We have 3 locations at our practice and use a central scheduling model. We recently implemented a workaround by creating more clerical users so that we can be logged into 2-3 calendars at one time (ie each scheduler has 2-3 additional logins). It isn't perfect, becuase different browsers need to be used for each one....but it sure saves them time when they are clicking between clinics while on the phone.

Being able to see multiple clinic schedules in multiple locations has become even more important to use with providers across clinics completing telehealth across locations. We would love to see this addressed in the future.
