Need an ability to mark a patient as deceased/expired so that marketing campaigns do not continue to be sent to the patient's families. This creates an uncomfortable scenario for families that feel like the clinic does not care about their loved one.

I strongly agree with this. We had a patient that passed away before coming here and his wife was still getting NPS sent to her on multiple occastions.
We just set their account to INACTIVE, then we run campaigns by active or discharged patients only.
Agreed! Right now I am just making a chart note and then deleting the patient's email address.
