Need gender option other than male/female requirement

I have several patients who prefer a gender neutral term instead of male/ female. I don’t like that I have to “pick” one as this is required to add a patient into the system

Add more gender options Merged

We treat many patients that are not gender normative. We have transmen and transwomen and the EMR system does not allow for us to choose the most accurate gender to document our patient's cases.

Gender identity is changing and we should be able to cahnge with it. There are now transgender and non binary individuals who are using our services and this should be added to the gneder section of the patient info form. Merged
