When doing initial evaluative notes, many times additional comments section is used. For progress notes, re-evaluations, and discharge notes, previous findings are usually compared between them and displayed side by side. Currently additional comments section will display side by side comparisons in the ROM and strength aspects but NOT in areas such as inspection, observation and palpation. If further qualitative assessment is given, side by side comparison can be useful.
Please implement an option where additional comments can be side by side compared between different periods of time so physicians can see side by side comparisons much easier. Consistency in additional comments field across all areas of the objective tab when finalizing note is imperative for our practice.
