In the patient's account under the billing tab, which shows all visits, all charges, billed amounts, adjustments, & balances, if the visits is at insurance it says " Ins open". It would he helpful if instead, it said " pending primary" & "pending secondary" or "Ins prime open" or "ins. second open", something to show which carrier the claim is at. You are able to see this when you go into sessions but nearly everything I need to work on a visit is in the patient's account. I would like to be able to see this also instead of minimizing and opening the session and having to go back and forth between the two.

Or another way to see which carrier the visits is at is to go to "filing" then "CMS1500" and THEN you can find your DOS and see which carrier was most recently billed but steps like this, even though small, take time. Time is money! :)
