Insurances should update automatically in Therabill from WebPT without creating a duplicate insurance card.

Truly integrated systems should "talk" to each other in real time and not require back tracking once you have made a correction to insurance information.

The insurance integration with Web PT and Therabill is definitely an issue. Here are a few examples:

    1. A patient has an old insurance card in Web PT from treatment in the past and the office staff updates the ID number or adds a new card. They place the current card in the patient's case in Web PT. The old card will still populate as primary and the new card will populate as secondary in Therabill. Regardless of what is in the case as primary in Web PT.

    2. A patient is quick admitted so the therapist can begin documentation while the office staff completes the admission on the patient. Web PT will require the insurance ID number to perform the quick admission. When the office staff goes back to update it on the same insurance card, Therabill creates a secondary insurance and does not update the card as was done in Web PT.

    3. Authorizations: If we select "requires authorization" or input an authorization in Web PT case there should be some way for that to automatically "Turn On" authorizations in the Therabill case as well.

This leads to unnecessary denials that should be avoided with an integrated system. Is there some way to fix this.
