Instead of just switching to bold red print when an authorization on file is expired a pop up should also appear when the the patient chart is opened. Similar to when the Medicare PT threshold has been exceeded. The authorization should also show as expired when the number of allowed visits has been reached, the expiration date being the day of the last authorized visit.

I submitted this request almost 3 1/2 years ago. You sent me an email 1/22/2024 stating that this upgrade is "in progress". It is the second most upvoted request on this platform. When is this happening?
This would be very helpful to mu clincial staff.
Other EMRs I've used in the past have had this alert pop up, would be great if WebPT could catch up with other EMRs!
Great idea!!
have a pop up on the schedule side stating out of visits
sounds like a good idea !
Please add this - it would be so helpful in cutting down the amount of denials we deal with.
Also please add the ability to track Policy visits (annual visit limit). Pretty please.
also if when you check them in it popped up also.
yes! We would love this feature!
This would be excellent!!
There should be a pop up warning on the schedule asking "patient's auth is expired, or no auth on file for patient" prior to scheduling the patient. So at least the scheduler has to view and click to acknowldge this prior to scheduling the patient.
This would be a great function to have.
I think this is a great idea and would help our organization, as well.
great idea! it should also prompt us before the last visit, maybe when one I left, to allow time to get the authorization
Also agree!
This would be VERY useful to our office
This will be a good functionality to have.
Yes, yes, yes!
YES! and even with the pop up, keep the RED
This would be an awesome idea! The pop up should pop up in the middle of the page! Not allowing a patient to be checked in when auth is expired should be a feature too.
