Currently patients must be invited to the patient portal one at a time. This can be cumbersome. It would be great if there was a way to batch invite clients to the portal - this could be included in the batch statement functions, to send an invitation to clients without an active portal login.
WebPT may use your submission for any purpose without obligation or restriction of any kind.

All insurance companies follow Medicare Regulations, except for allowing for a Plan Of Care to suffice for: Continuation of care, Auth for PT/OT specialty or Rx for DME. Our "State Practice Act Regulations" for CA state that a written order, or prescription is required for ALL Occupational Therapy treatment regardless of ANY verification of benefits. You must follow the most stringent of regulations, and an OT - may NOT function without a written prescription from a referring Physician, NP, PA or DO. (no Chiro, No Dentists) - With this said; Why can't WebPT have their default heading on their documents read RX rather than Plan of care? As of now our clinicians are forced to upload a Google doc RX I created and then fax that document for an MD to sign for continuation of care, DME or change in orders for OT/PT. Seems this would help with preventing refusal to pay, payment reversals and or commercial denials for payment.
Help WebPT: Change your PDF from plan of care to RX. Change the plan, change the plan, change the plan, change the plan on and on, fading into the darkenss.
The invite portal does not collect adequate information in order to create a chart in WebPT. I still need to collect the name of the person's MD, Insurance and nature of injury. How can this be? The questionnaire was created to upload required information to create a patient chart. A great feature would be to allow a clinic to upload their own individual intake documents so the patient need only receive one email with all they require to register in advance of their apt.
