It would be useful to have a place on the credit card payment area on patient statements that includes the security code for the card. It is very inconvenient to have to call patients every time they pay with a credit card to get this number.

We aren't STORING the information, we are simply asking the patient to complete that section to process the payment they sent in.
Hello! Thank you for your feedback! We are currently investigating the possibility of adding the CVV code to the patient statements. We understand that this is a big pain point, and we appreciate your patience while we brainstorm solutions.
The answer on the zendesk article doesn't make sense to me, we are not storing the information any more than we are storing the cc number. Additionally, ever bill, insurance or otherwise that I receive for any vendor for my home or business (that accepts cc payments) includes the CCV code box, including hospitals and physician bills.
We continue to have issues with the credit card vouchers. HSA cards need to have the CVV code to run in most cases and because there is no line for it, patients don't include it, causing us to have to call and leave messages and at times return the voucher with a note that it is "not able to process to to missing information." This becomes awkward when the patient calls and asks why if it is required, do we not include the line on the voucher.
Here is a Therabill article stating why this is not possible.
