Patient Statements

I have received numerous complaints from patients regarding their emailed statements. Most of our patients review their statement when it arrives and then pay their bill later in the week. However, when they go back to pay their bill later in the week, the link has already expired because it was accessed earlier in the week.

I can understand that this may be done for security reasons. However, I have also been informed that the link will expire in 5 days if it is not accessed at all. So to have the link expire because it was already accessed seems unneccessary to me and to my patients.

Can we please change this so that it can be accessed multiple times within the 5 day period before it expires?

I quit sending statements by email completely, which is not cost effective, for this very reason. Too many complaints and follow up phone calls when the email link was gone when the patient went back to pay it.
