Need to have a way to customize what the text reminders say.
Text reminders need to say "do not reply" as it is causing no shows on our schedule.
Patients are responding to text reminders when cancelling an appointment. This has caused patient no shows on our schedule.
This would be so helpful! The amount of phone calls we get asking for our adderss can be minimized by this simple feature.
TEXT REMINDER IS USELESS IF WE CANT CUSTOMIZE IT HOW PATIENT KNOW WHERE TO GO EVEN WE CANT USE THE FULL NAME OF A COMPANY THAT REALY NO GOOD
NEED TEXT CUSTOMIZATION WE COULD NOT EVEN ADD THE ADDRESS SO IN THIS CASE TEXT REMINDER IS USELESS
Our patients are texting us back. It would be very helpful if the following verbiage could be added to text messages (not just email!):
"If you have questions or need to reschedule, please contact us directly at xxx-xxx-xxxx This message is sent from an unmonitored inbox, so replies will not be seen."
This would be of great help! Right now my patients don't know when they have Telehealth or in person visits. It would be really helpful to indicate which type they have in a reminder text.
why can we not customize text reminders or at the minimal it should say that its automated that "do not reply" on it- This is just common sense-
This is a crucial thing that should be highly considered, I constantly have patients tell me they cancelled on the text message and when I explain we are not able to see these replies. The response is always you should include that in your message. Seeing how this thread was started in 2020 and it has now been 4 years just adds onto the list of how horrible this system is. I will talk to my employer because this system is just ridiculous.
PLEASE make this a priority. Our no show and late cancel numbers are rising. We need to be able to customize for our clinic.
WEBPT, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE TEXT CUSTOMIZABLE. WE HAVE TOO MANY PATIENTS RESPONDING, MISSING APPOINTMENTS, AND GIVING US RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT HOW THE TEXTS SHOULD ME.
I quote from a patient, " I received a text that said I had an appointment on Tuesday. That day was Tuesday. I thought it was the following week. Suggestion: please change the text to say the day, date, and time. I was very confused. I think this will help your patients."
She demanded us to change the text reminders for her and we told her we do not have the option to do so, and she insisted that "YES YOU CAN CHANGE IT" multiple times.
So, please make this happen sooner than later.
Thank you.
Is there a timeline when text customization is going to happen? Or Have you even considered making this change? It would be great if you let us know that you are considering to implement this. We need the tools to give optimal care to our patients. Due to this Patients are getting confused about where is their appointments, date, location and what the appointment is related too/case. And if there is limited space in text reminder then you remove line "Text powered by WebPT." We are not paying extra money to market WebPT in our text reminders.
That would be GREAT! We have SO MANY patients replying to the text and then they "no show" and then we lose that spot that could've been given to someone else!
Yes, I completely agree that the sooner this can happen the better! Please consider moving this up on the priority list. Thanks
AGREED! I have patients who are multi-service, doing OT, PT, and SLP, and having no indication of which appt is which is quite confusing to my elderly and cognitively impaired patients. This is something we asked for in my prior clinic beginning in 2016, as well in my current clinic, since 2022. It is necessary for our patients to ahave this kind of specificity. Customize is the solution.
Please let this happen soon. We have SO MANY patients replying to the text and then they "no show" and then we lose that spot that could've been given to someone else who is in need. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
This needs to happen sooner than later. We have patients trying to reply to the text reminder messge.
I cannot find where I can customize the reminder message that is sent via text messaging. I was able to customize the reminder through email but no one uses email so that's pretty ineffective. The text reminder that is send out is pretty good, I just wanted to add "ext 3" after our phone number and then also "Please provide 24 hours notice." as well. Can we add those two small things? That would be very helpful. Thank you.
The current text reminders leave a lot to be desired!! Each clinic should be able to customize to their clinic. Many other platforms allow for this option.
