in tx under lpc rules we have to document every cl contact. we have admin staff and when cls call they are able to send us a message but these messages do not go into the cl record. So under this system we have to copy and paste the message open up the patient record and record a note for every phone contact. we have to record all call to cls from us and conversely all call from them. This can be tedious under this system. If the admin staff could either make notes into the record or better yet if the messages could be made into a note from the message center that would be amazing.
