Medicaid requires to indicate how many minutes for EACH CPT code billed (not just the time in/out) and we are having to pay money back for noncompliance. The minutes are entered on the first page of the documentation for the session, but WILL NOT print (only time in, time out, CPT code and unit). The minutes are necessary for documentation to match billing procedures when billing multiple codes (insurance wants to see how the minutes were distributed across codes). Please fix ASAP. All other EMR systems I've seen and researched has the following note format:
1st CPT, Unit, Minutes
Goals that were targeted under this CPT, unit and minutes billed
2nd CPT, Unit, Minutes
Goals that were targeted under this CPT, unit and minutes billed
3rd CPT, Unit, Minutes
Goals that were targeted under this CPT, unit and minutes billed
Then the system will detect errors if the units exceed the total minutes using the 8 minute rule and forces the therapist to correct.
We need more options to stay AHEAD of insurance and what they require and make it easier for therapists to be efficient at documentation with less admin costs. Please consider ASAP

I totally agree. This is the first system I have worked with that does no automatically print number of minutes per CPT code on each visit.
