When billing claims to the VA, they require chart notes and initial evaluations to be attached. They can only process these claims properly when submitted electronically with these notes. When printing and submitting paper claims with notes, the claims automatically deny and then I have to call and request a medical review. The whole process can delay payments on this lowest payer to take up to 6-9 months.
