We feel the patients need to have text appointment reminders sent with date of week displayed, not just the day of the week. (Currently text says Reminder: Your appointment with XXX is on Tue at 07:00am To reschedule call ####"

Adding the date to the text reminder would be very helpful and would provide more clarification for the patients. Please consider making this a feature.
AGREED! I have patients who are multi-service, doing OT, PT, and SLP, and having no indication of which appt is which is quite confusing to my elderly and cognitively impaired patients. This is something we asked for in my prior clinic beginning in 2016, as well in my current clinic, since 2022. It is necessary for our patients to ahave this kind of specificity. Customize is the solution.
I agree that this should be there. Also this ties into being able to customize the message
Patients are asking us for this constantly as some offices send reminders when the appts are made (so you get one two weeks before) and it is confusing to them to get the reminder 2 days before as they do not always know what week it is for. date, please
I have had multiple patients within the last month mention that they would like it if the date of their appointment was on their reminder. Some of them (especially the elderly) get confused and aren't sure when their appointment is and either miss it completely or are very late. I see from other comments that other people have the same issue with their patients as well. I hope you look into adding this to the reminders in the near future.
This is our number one request from patients in regards to our reminders.
Agreed.
Yes agreed. Please add this!!!! ASAP!!!!
We receive complaints across our five clinics about this issue constantly. Please build this into the reminders, I believe it would help us combat the rise of no shows and allow us to hold patients accountable. Thank you!
Please help us get our patients iin the door! They are having trouble getting the days right with just the day of the week listed and not the real date.
Had a patient call in and give this exact complaint!
Yes!
Yes, that would be very helpful since we have a lot of elderly patients
This has caused issues with patients getting confused with appointments. Especially an issue with brain injury patients. Not sure why this is such a hard thing to correct I am guessing it is just a slight change in coding!
Can the text reminders come from one main number? option for Confirm/Cancel.
date/time/location for patients that are seen at different offices.
this is a no-brainer. There are no other EMR systems that lack a date with the day of a patient appointment. C’mon. Get this easy one taken care of.
This feature was brought to webPT's notice almost three years ago! When will this feature be available?
I agree! We also need a way for patients to confirm that they will be attending their appointment. Please fix this soon, webpt is fast becoming outdated.
We need more options on reminders like this. This is one of the many reasons our patients, especially older folks, get confused with the current reminder system.
this is a major issue for our patients who schedule multiple appointments at a time. we would love to see this feature to help avoid confusion for our patients. Thank you fo ryour consideration.
