Many times patients forget to call to cancel their appointments, even though they receive text messages/voicemail about their upcoming appointment. It would be great if patients had the ability to text their response regarding their appointment in real time via text message (from their text reminder), ex: press 1 to confirm, press 2 to cancel, press 3 to reschedule. This would help to reduce no-shows and cancellations at our clinic.
Hello, and thanks for your Idea portal submission! Responding to text/phone reminders is a feature that we don’t currently have planned, but may consider in the future. We’ll make sure to let you know if this feature is delivered.
