It would cut down time going into a patients account to turn on/off the auth filter just to send one claim out that doesn’t require auth when another case/discipline does. It would benefit any provider or billing person sending out claims. If there was a way to add an entry when a discipline does not require auth from a specific ins, so that when we went to send out that one claim we didn’t have to go into the chart turn the auth alert off, go back out send out the claim and then go back in and turn the auth alert on.
