Update efficiency for “New Missed and Open Notes”

Since transitioning to documenting with Soap 2.0, we've been advised to use the "New Missed and Open Notes" report in Analytics instead of the "Missed Notes" report through the EMR due to compatibility reasons. However, we've encountered significant delays and some limitations with the current report, impacting our workflow.

One major concern is the delay in accurately reflecting completed notes on the report. It can take several hours before they fall off, creating challenges for our providers. This delay affects their ability to efficiently manage their workload.

Additionally, the note report generation process is proving to be time-consuming and prone to timing out. Clinicians, who are working on these reports in between treating patients, find this process challenging and frustrating.

Furthermore, when dealing with patients who have multiple episodes, the hyperlink in the report doesn't consistently direct users to the correct case. This inconsistency raises the risk of potentially documenting on the wrong case!

In light of these challenges, we believe that the current report does not meet the documenting standards set by Soap 2.0.

We are requesting an update to fix these issues.

Thank you!

We would also like to have the visit start time column for this report.

The new missed note report in 2.0 is slow and cumbersome. Hoping for an improvement soon!

I’d really appreciate you looking into a way to update the missed notes feature in 2.0 similar to the way it worked in 1.0. It’s time consuming and very inefficient, also things can get lost and revenue could be lost. Thank you for considering to make this a priority on your end

Agree with others. It is very frustrating to use the missed notes process in 2.0 compared to 1.0.

The new missed notes process is a major problem in the new Soap 2.0 system. It has decreased my efficiency since it takes so long to load and also times out so quickly. By the time it's loaded, I need to go see my next patient and when I come back it has timed out and I have to reload it all over again. Please update in real time as well as being able to refresh the missed note list without timing out.

    Thank you!!!

    Please improve speed🌸

Please improve the speed to access, speed to update, and less clicks to get there. Even with the missed report saved with parameters so it is just for me, it takes 10 clicks versus 4 in 1.0. Time to load is up to 2 minutes in 2.0 versus 2 secs in 1.0. The fact that the report does not update in real time in 2.0 is also not helpful.

Any improvement would reduce work frustration and be greatly appreciated.

Utilizing the Analytics process for NEW Missed Notes is highly inefficient and frustrating as a clinician with a high caseload volume. The 1.0 system was quick to process and helped us stay on top of our charting in real time without having to wait for a refresh period or having a lag time. We are finding many errors with this new process. We urge you to update this to the old dashboard quick link as quickly as possible.

    Thank you,

I agree completely! Analytics takes a long time to load and requires multiple clicks to get to the right place. It was much easier with 1.0 when there was a quick link on the Dashboard.
