Missed Note Indicator in Chart

When in a chart SOAP 2.0 or 1.0 I want to know all the notes that need to be written for that specific patient.

It is cumbersome to have a missed notes report open in Analytics for 2.0 or the Dashboard Missed Notes report for 1.0. These are slow to generate and refresh reports that then have to be sorted in A-Z order to find multiple notes for the same patient. Maybe only myself and my therapists get behind but we are almost always working retrospectively off a missed notes report.

Ideally, there should be placeholders in the chart showing incomplete notes for whatever days don't match the schedule and a cancel/no show or daily note should have to be written. This placeholder could occur at "check in". The PT would click on it to start the note for that DOS. This would save time in selecting a past date also. Then, when you go to DC, it could alert you that there are missing notes/cancel/no shows.

Or there could be a list from within the patients chart that can easily show which past dates have missing or incomplete notes.

Hello, and thanks for your Idea portal submission! Adding an indicator of a needed note based on checked-in status within the patient record is a feature that we don’t currently have planned, but may certainly consider in the future. We’ll make sure to let you know if this feature is delivered.

In the meantime, if you have any further questions feel free to leave a comment or contact WebPT Support using support@webpt.com.
